Trench cleanout and finish work
A Crumbing Blade covers the bucket teeth with a continuous edge for removing loose material from trench bottoms and smoothing confined areas. Choose a blade that matches the bucket width when side clearance matters.
A Squeegee Blade provides a wider working edge. Its side wings help gather material while back-dragging, making it useful for finish grading and cleanup of loose material around foundations, landscape areas and other prepared surfaces.
One bucket for digging and finishing
Use the digging teeth for excavation, then install the blade for the finishing pass. A bucket-width blade is useful along trench bottoms for water lines, conduit, drainage and footings. The wider Squeegee Blade suits loose-material cleanup and finish grading where there is room for its wings.
Check fit before selecting a model
Provide the bucket width, tooth spacing, tooth shape and machine model. A clear photo of the bucket opening and tooth row helps confirm how the blade will seat. Choose the blade design and width for both the bucket and the work area.
The included chain and binder secure the blade to the bucket. The weld-on hook installs on the back of the bucket; follow the supplied installation instructions. For current models, prices and ordering, continue to Gradeblade.com.
